PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Veolia announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Séché Environnement to sell its activities in industrial water treatment services in France.
This is the last part of the “remedies” required by the European Commission in terms of competition in the context of the merger between Veolia and Suez, said the group of services to communities in a press release.
“The assets sold include a portfolio of contracts entered into with manufacturers, representing annual revenue of around €60 million for a gross operating surplus (Ebitda) of around €4 million. euros,” said the two groups.
“The amount of the sale of the transferred assets amounts to approximately 40 million euros and will be financed from Séché Environnement’s available cash,” added their press release.
