In 2016, Éric Foray mysteriously disappeared. After discovering his skull last summer, investigators found his car and human remains. One of the tracks mentioned is then chilling.
On September 16, 2016, Éric Foray was last seen in Chatuzange-le-Goubet in Drôme doing his shopping. Then, the man mysteriously disappears, leaving no trace. The investigators, who had even followed the trail of a potential involvement of Nordahl Lelandais in this disappearance, may have made great strides in recent days. Indeed, last summer, the skull of Éric Foray had been found, exonerating the murderer of little Maëlys and Corporal Noyer. “The investigation recently underwent a major development after the discovery in the Vercors massif of a human skull. Forensic analyzes allow us to date to confirm that it is that of Eric Foray”, announced in a press release Laurent de Clagny, the public prosecutor of Valence.
But now a major new discovery was made earlier this week. Indeed, the investigators got their hands on Eric Foray’s car and on human remains. The research took place in “a mountainous context that is particularly difficult to access. Technical expertise is already planned. The investigation will continue without any hypothesis, criminal or accidental, being ruled out”. Was Eric Foray killed? The prosecutor explained “that no track is set aside including that leading to intentional homicide”.
One disappearance linked to another?
Investigators are also looking into possible links to other disappearances in the area.. In 2011, a woman, Nelly Balmain mysteriously vanished after visiting her parents. “I always mentioned the fact that there could be an unknown predator on the spot. Murder has always been a privileged lead. I think I was not mistaken. The predator lead is in my opinion the most likely “, had then commented on RTL Bernard Boulloud, the lawyer for the families of the two missing.
