Vergnet: commissioning of a wind farm in Barbados

(CercleFinance.com) – Vergnet rose by almost 13% on Tuesday on the Paris Stock Exchange following the announcement of the commissioning of a wind farm in Barbados, according to a schedule close to the schedule initially planned.

In a statement, the renewable energy production specialist said he was able to make up for much of the delay he had taken due to a post-Covid global context deemed ‘very complicated’.

Beyond the shortage of certain components, the increase in logistics costs and the extension of supply times, the group had also suffered from delays linked to local contingencies.

Built on behalf of the private company Pavana Energy, this wind farm aims to sell electricity to the local network.

An additional source of satisfaction for Vergnet, Pavana Energy was particularly satisfied with the work carried out within the framework of this first collaboration, which means that other projects under discussion could soon materialize.

Around 11:30 a.m., Vergnet shares rose 12.9%, giving a market capitalization of around 2.5 million euros.
