Vergnet strengthens its commercial offering of photovoltaic solutions in response to the growing demand for clean energy

The Vergnet Group, a historic player and pioneer in renewable energies, today announces a significant strengthening of its commercial offering in the field of photovoltaic solutions. This strategic development is part of the company’s desire to meet the growing global demand for solar energy, while accelerating the energy transition and offering innovative, sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of its customers.

With its recognized expertise and decades of experience in the wind, solar and hybrid project sectors, the Vergnet group is implementing an ambitious strategy to improve its photovoltaic offerings and services.

This commercial reinforcement includes:

• launching a recruitment
  
  to provide its subsidiary PHOTALIA with new high-level technical and commercial expertise;

• the establishment of a team dedicated to the development of photovoltaic shade structures
  
  a market affected since March 2023 by the legal obligation to equip any car park of more than 1,500m² (more than approximately 80 spaces) with solar carports for 50% of their surface area. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in a fine of €20 to €40k per year depending on the size of the car park;

• diversification and expansion of the product portfolio
  
  to offer solutions tailored to projects of all types and sizes, including industrial solar parks. These offers are designed to ensure optimal performance, enhanced durability and simplified integration;

• the search for new partnerships
  
  with manufacturers and key players in the photovoltaic supply chain, thus enabling the company to offer complete and competitive solutions integrating the latest technological advances (AI, etc.).
