VERGNET’S GROWTH STRATEGY IN PHOTOVOLTAICS: EXPANSION IN FRANCE AND NEW HORIZONS IN THE PACIFIC

Ormes, May 7, 2024 – 6:30 p.m.

VERGNET SA, leader in renewable energy solutions, is taking significant steps in its photovoltaic development, both in France and through its subsidiary in the Pacific, illustrating a dynamic of rapid and targeted expansion.

Strategic projects in the Pacific

The ASIA-OCEANIA subsidiary is capitalizing on energy opportunities in the Pacific Islands with the launch of three major projects in Wallis and Futuna. The FUTUNA PV1 Project in Nuku Alofa, Futuna, of 280 million , Wallis, of 240 million XPF (2 million euros) and 380 million as a key player in the energy development of island territories.

Increased development in France

At the same time, VERGNET is consolidating its activity on the French market with the completion of rooftop photovoltaic projects. The projects in Sanxay and Saint Epain, now adjusted to 248 kWp and 298 kWp, are in the finalization phase, anticipating receipt of the necessary solar panels. In addition, an ambitious project in Boisville is planned for June with a capacity of 500 kWp, illustrating a sustained investment strategy with precise implementation costs of €51k, €53k, and €90k, reflecting the commitment of VERGNET in accelerating its photovoltaic deployment.

Strategic and operational impulse

With a cumulative investment of nearly 8.1 million euros in photovoltaic projects in France and the Pacific, these initiatives are not just projects; they represent strategic anchor points for VERGNET, consolidating its expertise in photovoltaics and demonstrating its ability to manage the energy transition in various geographic environments. These projects not only represent a total installed capacity of more than 3,292.8 kWp but will also generate more than 5,229 MWh of clean energy each year, thus contributing to the significant reduction of CO2 emissions globally. The company continues to strengthen its presence in domestic and international markets, aligning with global sustainable development goals and meeting investors’ expectations for profitable and responsible growth.

These developments help position VERGNET as a partner of choice in the provision of sustainable and efficient energy solutions internationally.
