Surprising model job! She runs at the Milano Fashion Week

Very few would have expected that – not even they themselves! Actually invited as a guest, Verona Pooth spontaneously walks the catwalk of Milan Fashion Week as a model for Philipp Plein.
Verona Pooth, 54, has sniffed catwalk air: At the fashion show by Philipp Plein, 45, as part of Milan Fashion Week, she walks the catwalk for the designer. But that wasn’t planned! Originally, the presenter was invited as a guest and was supposed to take a seat at the front of the runway. But then things turned out differently: As Verona tells in her Instagram story, the designer spontaneously asks her to become part of the catwalk crew herself.
Philipp Plein spontaneously offers Verona Pooth a model job
In an Instagram greeting to son Diego, 19, Philipp Plein and Verona Pooth report on the events. “Your mom is going to walk alongside all the models tonight and steal the show,” the designer explained to the camera. “It’s really like that, I’m here in Milan and now he asked me spontaneously,” Pooth confirmed her appearance. A total of around 7,000 spectators should sit in the audience, which is a reason for the 54-year-old to be nervous, as she admits on Instagram.

Verona Pooth: “It was like coming home”
But as the celebrity portal “vip.de” reports, Verona Pooth gets tips from the designer before her appearance. “I think you’re running great, shoulders a bit back, a bit more aggressive, looking straight ahead, not showing any teeth and self-confident as always,” he explained to the 54-year-old, who drew a positive conclusion after her walk: “It’s fun done, it was a huge compliment and it was a bit like coming home.”
In a glitter jumpsuit, it’s off to the catwalk
For Verona in a skin-tight, pitch-black jumpsuit with hundreds of rhinestones on the catwalk. But that’s not the only way the piece stands out. A low back and a décolleté that reaches down to the navel and is only decorated with a thick brooch make the jumpsuit an eye-catcher. In the same look there are also the matching boots and a cowboy hat. The designer, who has already seen the presenter in the outfit at a small photo shoot, thinks it’s an amazing look.

Verona Pooth does not want to rule out a model comeback
Can Verona Pooth make a comeback after the Philipp Plein show? That cannot be ruled out. Because every now and then she could imagine a model job, she explains to RTL. So it remains to be seen where the next catwalk job awaits the native Bolivian.
