Veronica Ferres and Carsten Maschmeyer celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary with expressions of love. He also shows a special gift.
Actress Veronica Ferres, 59, and investor Carsten Maschmeyer, 65, are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary today, September 27th. The power couple also publicly confesses their love for each other on their “rose wedding anniversary”. Maschmeyer started with a video clip, which he posted on Instagram. He also wrote a public love letter to his “dearest Veronica”.
A thank you for the past and great anticipation for the future
First, he summarizes the beautiful things in the past decade together: “From wonderful vacations, to cooking evenings together, backgammon evenings, moments in the gym together, great concerts, many dinners with our family and friends or just cozy evenings for two on the couch.” But then he also honestly reminds us that the couple “accompanied each other through all the ups and downs together,” “strengthened each other” and “celebrated individual and shared milestones.” In short: “We have become better and better together as a couple,” says Maschmeyer. This also applies to the “beloved above all else […] “very large patchwork family” that the couple has created over the past few years. As a token of love, Carsten Maschmeyer had “the rose Veronica Glaubea” specially grown for his Veronica. This flower characterizes his wife “perfectly: strong, beautiful and at the same time full of grace “. In his stories he shows the gem in orange tones.Maschmeyer closes his post with a loving thank you for the shared past and full of anticipation for everything “beautiful and unforgettable in the future”.
The video clip shows many beautiful wedding and cuddly photos and ends with “I love you”. Ferres has since captioned his post “10 years of you & me!” commented.
Veronica Ferres only publishes a photo and little text, but…
An hour after his public confession of love, Veronica Ferres also moved on Instagram after – with only one photo and less text, but no less emotional.
She posted a photo of the couple and wrote: “A decade full of love, laughter, challenges and unforgettable moments. I am so proud of what we have built together and I look forward to all the years that lie ahead. ” Garnished with an infinity symbol, she concluded her message with “Happy Anniversary.”
Ferres and Maschmeyer have been in a relationship since 2009, and five years later they got married with around 150 guests in Nice, southern France. Both brought their children from previous relationships with them into the marriage: Maschmeyer’s sons Marcel, 34, and Maurice, 31, come from her first marriage. Ferres has her daughter Lilly Krug, 23, with her ex-husband Martin Krug, 66, who is like her is an actress.
