From 2002 to 2004, actress Veronica Ferres (55, "Under German Beds") played the role of "Buhlschaft" in the play "Jedermann" at the Salzburg Festival. On Instagram, she reminisces about the start of today's 100th edition of the Salzburg Festival. She calls the engagement an "honor" and writes: "Wonderful summer – without summer!" In addition, the actress posted a particularly cute souvenir photo from back then, on which she can be seen together with daughter Lilly Krug (19).
"In the end, I chose my daughter"
The mother-daughter duo embraces in the picture. Veronica Ferres wears her "everyone" costume. Little Lilly has a soft pink outfit and a pacifier in her mouth. Ferres goes on to explain: "Even though I regretted leaving the boyhood for a long time, in the end I chose my family and my daughter."
The 100th Salzburg Festival lasts from August 1st to 30th. Due to the Corona crisis, the 2020 Festival will take place in a modified and shortened form. Tobias Moretti (61, "Commissioner Rex") is playing "Jedermann" for the last time, to be seen as death again: Peter Lohmeyer (58, "The Miracle of Bern").
