Filming starts on the new RTL series “Alpentod – A Bavarian Crime”: In addition to Veronica Ferres, Tim Oliver Schultz and Salka Weber will also be investigating in 2025.
Veronica Ferres (59) goes on the hunt for criminals. As RTL announced on Monday (September 30th), the first cover of its new crime series “Alpentod – A Bavarian Crime” has been released. The popular actress takes on one of the three main roles. Filming will initially take place in Salzburg and Hallein, Austria, as well as in the foothills of the Alps until the end of October. Alongside Ferres, her fellow actors Tim Oliver Schultz (36) and Salka Weber (35) complete the new investigator trio.

According to the announcement, two 90-minute films will initially be produced and are scheduled to be broadcast on RTL in spring 2025 on “Deadly Service Day”. The films will also appear in advance on the in-house streaming portal RTL+.
