The beauty trend for fruity, seductive lips

The coming seasons are very berry: the fruity, seductive shade of lipstick no longer only adorns our kissable lips in the cold season.
When the sun gets shy, even the last of us realize that the hard-earned tan is gradually fading away. We swap the BB Cream for a matte foundation that’s one shade lighter and dig out our dark lipsticks, which had to make room for the shimmering tones over the summer. But that’s the end of it for now: the berry winter dream can stay this year and thus also make our lips happy in the summer!

Before it begins…
… spoil your lips with a good portion of care. This can be done either in the evening for the coming day or just before. Anyone who tends to have chapped and dry lips should start looking for the cause: is it the heating air? Is a cold coming on? Am I not drinking enough water? A little exfoliation in the morning, followed by a lip mask and moisturizer is a good basis for the color to last.

If you don’t have the necessary make-up skills to determine your own skin undertone and look for a lipstick that suits you, you don’t have to despair. There is a trick that really always works and is easy to implement even for the untrained eye: Pick out a few colors, test them on your finger and then see whether the tone suits you or not. Then there’s a small process of elimination: May the prettier win. Because red tones are all about self-confidence – and that’s when we feel good about ourselves. A little tip: if you don’t feel like trying a new lipstick, you can simply mix a red tone with a dark purple or brown lip liner, for example. Sounds berry ombre!
What can styling do?
It’s not for nothing that elegant berry looks are so popular during the cold season: they give us warmth to go and self-confidence. This should also be reflected in the outfits, which are comfy-chic to match. And when it gets warm again? Then we keep the cool sporty style and combine it with denim looks. The rest of the face should be easy-going: style the eyebrows, dab on mascara and some of the same lipstick as blush. For a “lip stain” look, you can dab the color with your finger and then apply your favorite care product or gloss. Perfect here: fresh and uncomplicated – you don’t need to worry about “misrunning” and you don’t have to regularly check for stains on your tooth in the mirror.
