For once, 2024 will be busy in terms of quality anime. Big releases are expected this year, mixing promising new releases, finally dated sequels and absolutely cult returns.
The year 2024 has opened nicely for otakus with several new anime releases. For example, we think with emotion of Sand Land, which allowed us to discover another work by the master Akira Toriyama, recently disappeared. We also loved The Fable and Solo Leveling, which marked the start of the year with panache. But the biggest part is yet to come…!
What are the most anticipated anime of 2024?
So it’s a great season that awaits us this year. Whether it’s new releases or already good franchises, or even very well known, we will be entitled to solid productions. The highlights of the year will begin with the return of Demon Slayer for its fourth season. The phenomenon Oshi no Ko will also be there this summer while we finally discover DanDaDan in anime in the fall, another good time of the year which will also welcome the brand new anime Dragon Ball Daima !

Of course, we will update this article throughout the year! So, we will give you the new dates announced in due time. What’s more, other anime could potentially join the list… We are particularly waiting for a broadcaster to come forward for the sequel to Sword Art Online. We also hope to see Blue Box arrive here.
Finally, there are still anime which are not yet dated, but expected for 2024. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War — The Conflict should arrive at the end of the year, without further details however. Likewise for the remake of One Piece, expected on Netlix. We also don’t have a date for Netflix’s Devil May Cry anime, which we hope to see arrive this year. Uzumaki (Spiral), the new adaptation of the work of horror specialist Junji Itō, could also be released in the coming months, so let’s keep our eyes peeled!
