The cooperation between Telekom and Viaplay Select is beginning to bear fruit: the content of the Nordic streaming service can be found in several places on MagentaTV.

- Telekom and Viaplay entered into a new content partnership in April.
- Two-thirds of the agreement has already been completed.
- There are two ways to discover Viaplay Select content on MagentaTV.
When the Viaplay cooperation was announced in April, there was talk of a total of 300 hours of streaming content that should be part of the agreement. According to Telekom, 200 hours of this are now available on MagentaTV. The remaining third of the content partnership is to be played out over the course of the year, as Telekom further reports.
The MagentaTV Exclusives under the Viaplay content can be found in the Megathek in the “Originals and Exclusives” area. The series include, for example, “The Dreamer”. a series about the Danish author Karen Blixen (“Out of Africa”), the six-part Swedish crime thriller “Cell 8”, the German premiere “Fenris” from Norway, which also includes six episodes, or the drama series “The Congregation” about a Christian sect .
In addition, own Viaplay Select Channel
Telekom has also given Viaplay Select its own entry in the Channels area. Here you can find all the content coming from the Scandinavian streaming service, collected again, in addition to offers such as ARD Plus or ZDF Select.
