Vicat: CEO net income down 29.5% in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) – Vicat publishes consolidated revenue of 3642 ME for the 2022 financial year, up 19.7% at constant scope and exchange rates compared to 2021.

At the same time, EBITDA amounted to 570 ME, down 5.9% at constant scope and exchange rates.

In the end, net income group share came to 156 ME, down 29.5% at constant scope and exchange rates.

‘ In 2022, the Vicat Group demonstrated its resilience in a difficult environment. Penalized by an unfavorable basis for comparison linked to the strong rebound in activity in 2021 after the Covid period, by a very sharp increase in energy costs, and by non-recurring industrial costs in the United States, France and in India, the Group reacted by applying significant sales price increases in almost all the markets where it operates in order to offset the impact of inflation,” commented Guy Sidos, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
