Victim in danger of death – opponent stabbed multiple times in asylum home

After a bloody knife attack in the East Asylum Care Center in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria), one of the two opponents is fighting for his life. The attack was preceded by an argument.

The bloody attack in Traiskirchen called the police to the scene on Monday evening around 7:20 p.m.: In the east care center, a fight between two refugees ended with one seriously injured. The dispute escalated. A 22-year-old Moroccan attacked his opponent armed with a knife. He stabbed the Libyan several times, hitting him primarily in the stomach area. The 24-year-old’s life was initially in danger. He was taken to hospital by emergency doctor and underwent emergency surgery. The attack was preceded by an argument between the two. Arrested for Attempted MurderThe 22-year-old initially managed to escape. However, he was caught by officers from the Traiskirchen police station during an immediate search. He was arrested for attempted murder. The investigation was taken over by the Lower Austrian State Criminal Police Office.
