The scammer pretends to be a bank agent

The latter received a phone call from an alleged bank agent in the fraud department of BNP Paribas. The man therefore proposes Michel Drucker to cancel the transaction directly. Unfortunately for the host, the thief managed to get him to make two remote transfers, one for 7,500 euros and the other for 2,500 euros.

It was only by hanging up that Michel Drucker would have realized the deception, then contacting the police station of the 7th arrondissement of Paris to file a complaint. An investigation is now underway.
