The new celebrity of the candidates of large families does not protect them from scams. The last experience of Blois proves it.

Diana and Gérôme Blois have decided to tell the story of a scam they almost fell victim to. As the Blois family seeks to move house, they find themselves at the heart of a well-organized scam. Diana and Gérôme Blois tell this funny story in an Instagram story.

Their story made Internet users react strongly, shocked to learn that this kind of practice exists in France.

The couple who lives in Montpellier says that he was approached by a person who offered them the rental of the house of his best friend. This person connects Diana Blois with her friend Enora, the owner of the property.

While the Blois family has been looking for their dream house for a long time, Diana Blois is offered a perfect accommodation by this famous Enora.

“She was renting a small house near our house that could suit us. (…) With a big description that made me drool a little. I let you imagine. There were five bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen , living room, garden with inground pool”, says Diana Blois.

Tired of looking for adequate housing for a long time, the Blois were very seduced and saw themselves living there. They show their interest and ask to visit the house.

The house exists but is not really for rent

However, the perfect house quickly presents gray areas. Indeed, Diana explains that she asks several times to visit the house but the owner keeps canceling, inventing more bewildering excuses than the other. Each time it is the best friend of the owner who justifies the visit cancellations.

Each week a new excuse is given to candidates for Large Families. One day, it is about the death of the owner’s mother, another time it is his heart problems that prevent him from meeting them. The owner even shares her doubts about the candidates for Large Families. She talks about their bad reputation.

Finally Diana Blois and her husband decide to dig to find more reliable information on this property. It turns out that this person absolutely does not own the house and it is a scam.

Shocked, the Blois cease their exchanges with the person in question. “A complaint will be filed by us, by the agency, by the [vrais] home owners. We have your phone number, all conversations are recorded” specifies the Blois family in the live in question.

In the meantime, the Blois family is still looking for their home. They even asked Stéphane Plaza for help. In vain.
