Mette-Marit and Haakon from Norway spent a few days with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel on Gotland.
Crown Prince Haakon (48) and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (48) visited Sweden with their daughter Princess Ingrid Alexandra (17). The Norwegian royal family spent the past weekend with Crown Princess Victoria (44) and Prince Daniel (48) of Sweden and the couple’s children.
“Some nice late summer days”
How close the Scandinavian royal families are, shows a new photo, which the Swedish royal family shared on Instagram. You can read there that they spent “some lovely late summer days on Gotland” together. “The Scandinavian heirs to the throne maintain close contact with one another.” Crown Princess Victoria and her family really appreciated “spending time with their Norwegian friends and relatives and being able to show them this unique part of Sweden”.
The picture shows Victoria arm in arm with Mette-Marit while Daniel puts a hand on the shoulder of his son Prince Oscar (5). Haakon has put his hands on the shoulders of daughter Ingrid Alexandra, who is hugging Princess Estelle of Sweden (9). The families can be seen in casual clothes on a stone path in the middle of trees. Also there is the family dog of the Swedes, Rio.
