The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria spent her 46th birthday with her family. Her sister was there too.

She beamed with the sun: the Swedish crown princess Victoria celebrated her 46th birthday on Friday (July 14) in the best summer weather. In addition, the entire royal family – including her sister Madeleine (41) – was in harmony on the island of Öland.

The king called for a salute

The celebrations started in the afternoon at Solliden Castle, where Victoria, her husband Daniel (49) and their two children showed up to their subjects and happily rocked along to the children’s choir of the Borgholmer Kulturschule. As usual, her father King Carl XVI. Gustaf (77) celebrate them four times. The future Queen of Sweden looked summery in a cream shoulder-length lace dress.

Then we went to the concert in the ruins of Borgholm Castle, which was also broadcast on television. The royal family was in good spirits. Victoria’s siblings and partner also attended, but unlike Oscar (7) and Estelle (11), their children stayed at home. Since Madeleine is currently spending her summer vacation with her family on Öland, she was able to attend the day of honor. It was only recently announced that her planned return to Sweden would be postponed to next year. While Victoria’s brother Carl Philipp (44) and her brother-in-law Chris O’Neill (49) wore suits, her sister-in-law Sofia (38) and her sister Madeleine chose summery pastel tones. Victoria’s mother, Queen Silvia (79), attracted attention in a pink suit.

A few snapshots from Victoria Day are also included on the Instagram page of the royal family to see. Victoria laughs happily with her husband and children. She was touched “by a large crowd of well-wishers” who visited her at Solliden Castle.

During the birthday concert in honor of the Crown Princess, she awarded her “Victoria Prize” to the successful Swedish ice hockey player Erik Karlsson (33). He was already happy beforehand: “Of course I’m very proud and it will be fun for me to come home to Sweden and accept the award. Especially this award. My father will be so happy.”
