“Let’s Dance” pauses this Friday. There will be a reunion with Victoria Swarovski on the Maldives beach on Sunday in the “Traumschiff”.

“Let’s Dance” presenter Victoria Swarovski (27) can be seen on Easter Sunday (April 4th) as dance teacher Mia in “Das Traumschiff: Malediven / Thaa Atoll” (8:15 pm, ZDF). Among other things, she shows her gorgeous bikini figure. Swarovski reveals what she does for it in an interview with spot on news. The Austrian also talks about her first major foray into acting and her private dance skills. The latter is likely to surprise fans of her dance show (Fridays, 8:15 pm, RTL) a little, after all, she won the “Let’s Dance 2016” candidate.

On Sunday you play dance teacher Mia in the “Traumschiff”. After this filming, what do you see differently about acting?

Victoria Swarovski: The acting is definitely different from the moderation. These are definitely two different pairs of shoes. Both have their charm and both are a lot of fun. Repeating a scene over and over until it’s perfect and you have all the camera settings in place is something else. With the live moderation, everything has to be right the first time, we rehearse the show twice beforehand with “Let’s Dance”, but when we broadcast live on Friday evening there is no false bottom and no “Oh, let’s do that again now . ”

Did you take acting classes before filming?

Swarovski: I played a young girl who works as a dance teacher on a cruise ship. I was able to get used to the role quickly even without taking acting classes. I already had various points of contact with dance in “Let’s Dance”, which definitely helped me a lot.

How were the phases in the Maldives between the shoots?

Swarovski: We were actually always on standby between shoots. Some had accused me of flying to the Maldives for a vacation because I wasn’t allowed to show anything from the shooting on my Instagram. So I was very fortunate to be able to work where others usually go on vacation. Of course, I still fully enjoyed the time there, it could definitely have been worse for us.

How regularly do you dance privately?

Swarovski: Since my time as a candidate for “Let’s Dance”, many have thought that I am a great dancer. I love music and dancing too, but I’m only more of someone who dances on the dance floor in the club – recently, like all of us, far too little or not at all. Going out properly again and dancing the night away is definitely at the top of my list for after the pandemic.

When did you start dancing?

Swarovski: As I said, I’m not a dancer, with “Let’s Dance” you learn one choreography from week to week, not the whole dance. So I’m far from really mastering much more than the basic steps.

You will receive a poem and a rose from your admirer. What can you do in your private life?

Swarovski: Definitely with flowers. I love flowers. Thank God my husband knows that and I regularly get a beautiful bouquet from him. Currently I go to the hotel in Cologne every week, where I’m from Wednesday to Saturday for the production of “Let’s Dance”.

How do you like the styling in the film? How hard is it to have to wear something that you might not wear in private?

Swarovski: Styling in a film is styling and primarily has to fit the role. From my point of view, it is part of wearing what would ultimately be wearing the character that you embody in the film. So far I’ve always been lucky and at “Let’s Dance” anyway, where I can wear really great clothes by great designers week after week. I don’t play a role here either, I am myself.

You also show your bikini figure in the “dream ship”. What are the three most important things you do for it?

Swarovski: Sport, Sport and Nutrition. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people who are slim and slim without anything to do and then can also eat everything without gaining significant weight. It is part of my job to be in shape, so I pay attention to my diet and do as much sport as possible. Before shootings and before a new season of “Let’s Dance”, I put another shovel on top, but everything in moderation.

Which calorie bomb will make you weak anyway?

Swarovski: I love burgers. I always get weak there. But as I said, I stick to my curves and sometimes have phases when I’m more on my hips. That’s completely normal and wouldn’t be fun otherwise.
