Not only the national team are happy about their victory against Portugal.

Germany won the second European Championship group game against Portugal on Saturday. So the stars celebrated with the team.

The German national team was able to make up for their false start from last week with a 4-2 win against Portugal on Saturday (June 19). Not only coaches and players are happy about the triumph – some stars also cheered for the team.

So the stars are happy with the national team

Pop titan Dieter Bohlen (67) put down a victory dance with his wife Carina (37) and wrote on Instagram: “Our dance of joy for the victory of the German team.” Actor Heiner Lauterbach (68) shared a photo of himself and Brazil’s soccer star Pelé (80) on Instagram: “Strong performance by the German team. This is the only way to do it: find your own game by fighting unconditionally. Bravo guys, keep it up …” Robert (57) and Carmen Geiss (56) sent the DFB-Elf greetings from Ibiza on Saturday evening and were happy about the leadership of the team.

There is even more jubilation at influencer Caro Daur (26): Together with friend and podcaster Tommi Schmitt (32), she was feverish diligent in her Instagram story with and subsequently shared a picture, on which she wears a jersey with the name of the “Man of the Match”, Robin Gosens (26). TV presenter Laura Wontorra (32) is also happy with the team: “Won 4-2, everything is going well,” she wrote taking a picture with wineglass in hand. Actor Patrick Mölleken (27) toasted victory with a non-alcoholic beer and wrote: “WHAT A GAME !!! Now start the weekend with the last rays of sunshine and a non-alcoholic beer …” Moderator Ruth Moschner (45) shared a picture on Instagram of a pool that is filled with beer and wrote: “Because of yesterday … 4: 2 !!!!”

Of course, the players’ wives also cheered with their husbands: Cathy Hummels (33) was with son Ludwig (3) in the Allianz Arena and shared a cute video, on which the little one cheers on his father Mats Hummels (32). “Germany’s biggest fan and lucky charm! Cheers to Ludwig Hummels. He cheers so hard,” wrote the presenter. And also Christina Ginter shared her joy of the victory on Instagram: To a photo that she shows on the sidelines with her husband Matthias Ginter (27), the mother of two wrote: “Proud.”

Most of all, of course, the players themselves were happy about the victory. So wrote Thomas Müller (31) for example: “That was a thrilling game against Portugal at Euro 2020 today. The deserved 4-2 win will hopefully give us the necessary tailwind for the further course of the tournament. It has once again shown that you can do a lot as a functioning team can reach.”

“Now we are here !! What a great football evening with the atmosphere and the well-deserved victory”, Mats Hummels is happy on Instagram. And the rest of the national team also join in: Kai Havertz (22), the youngest German goal scorer after scoring in yesterday’s game, says on Instagram: “We’ll keep fighting, with another big game next week!” Toni Kroos (31) wrote short and sweet “The tournament can start” and also Leon Goretzka (26) thinks: “We have arrived.” Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (35) thanked the fans for “the great atmosphere in the arena and your support”.
