David Hallyday rarely talks about himself. However, the 57-year-old singer came out of his reserve and decided to to indulge with an open heart his autobiography entitled Best Albumto be published by Editions du Look for noon this Thursday, November 23. Through this work, he looks back on his childhood, his relationships with his parents Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan, but also on his career. On the occasion of this highly anticipated release, David Hallyday was the guest of the show C to youbroadcast this Tuesday, November 21 on France 5. “There are very beautiful anecdotes, very pretty photos, memories”, indicated Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine. Before revealing a little surprise: “And at the end, we see you grandfather, 57 years old, young grandfather.”
The introduction having been made, the presenter then revealed on screen a tender photo of David Hallyday posing with his grandson, responding to the sweet first name of Harrison. This little cutie, born July 2, 2022, is the first child of her eldest daughter Ilona Smet and her son-in-law Kamran Ahmed. Viewers were thus able to discover the half-brother of Laura Smet holding the toddler, dressed in a white bodysuit. With blue eyes and chubby cheeks, little Harrison is adorable. With a radiant smile, the musician seems to be the happiest of men. If he didn’t comment on this photo, David Hallyday was content with a tender smile which says a lot about the love he has for his grandson.

As discreet as his daughter, David Hallyday reveals very little about his family life. But when his first grandson was born, the singer could not hide his joy. In the caption of the photo announcing the arrival of the little boy, he wrote with tenderness: “Welcome this wonderful Jedi to this crazy world! He fell on the right side of the tree with the two loving and beautiful parents that you are. I love you forever”.
From, David Hallyday is a happy grandfather. During his appearance on the show 1 hour with…, broadcast on April 1 on RFM, Alexandra Pastor’s husband spoke about this new role as he rarely did. With tenderness, he admitted that being a grandpa was “the most wonderful thing in the world”. “That’s crazy”he assured Bernard Montiel on the microphone, before specifying, with regard to his age which may seem early to have a grandson, which he has, in any case “very young” in his life. “But for me, it’s like having a fourth child, actually. I’m crazy about this kid. It is awesome. It’s amazing.” All is said.
