A shoot that was not without risk. Since this Wednesday, December 13, Eva Green is starring in the second of Three Musketeersadapted from the novel by Alexandre Dumas. By lending her features to the mystic Milady, the 43-year-old actress opposite François Civil, Vincent Cassel, Pio Marmai and Romain Duris. On the occasion of this news, Eva Green was on the show As an asidebroadcast this Thursday, December 14 on Canal+. From then on, Nathalie Levy took the opportunity to reveal a little anecdote from the filming. “There was almost no accident with this d’Artagnan. (performed by François Civil, editor’s note)?”, asked the presenter to her guest. With a smile on her lips, Marlène Joubert’s daughter was quick to return to this narrowly avoided incident. “I almost killed François Civil”she revealed.
Without further ado, the former James Bond Girl revealed the underside of this scene which could have gone wrong. “Actually, I was very much in character and I went a little too hard on him”, she explained while miming her gesture. And to add: “I tore his jogging pants”. But more fear than harm. “Fortunately, I didn’t tear anything else, but they be careful.”, she concluded, a bit mischievous. A story which did not fail to amuse Nathalie Levy.

Eva Green: her intensive training for fight scenes
To fit perfectly into Milady’s skin and wield the sword brilliantly, Eva Green increased her training hours. Indeed, the one who has a twin sister took fencing and aikido lessons, as Nathalie Levy recalled. An experience which was a real challenge for the actress. “I love everything physical because it’s true, I’m quite awkward in life. It’s really a luxury, when you’re an actor, to be able to explore lots of worlds and new disciplines.”, she assured the presenter. Before continuing: “I had several weeks of training. We started with aikido then with fencing. We also tried to find quite a different way for Milady to fight with two weapons with a little Asian influence.”
Sports practices which have been more than beneficial for Eva Green. “I tend to be very cerebral. Doing fencing exercises, it helped me find the inner strength of the charactervery manly.” From then on, Vincent Cassel’s sidekick is delighted to have been able to break the image of “fatal Woman” often attributed to Milady.
