VIDEO GALA – Kate Middleton at Trooping the Color: relive her most beautiful appearances

Will Kate Middleton make a surprise appearance during Trooping the Color? This is the question everyone is asking. And for good reason, at the end of March, the Princess of Wales announced that she had cancer and therefore put her royal engagements and public appearances on hold. If, at first, rumors had suggested that Prince William’s wife would return to the forefront during Trooping the Color, other rumors assure that the mother of George, Charotte and Louis will not resume her functions for the Crown before the fall. This Saturday, June 15, there is therefore a good chance that the event in honor of Charles III will be celebrated without the future queen, a first since 2011.

Indeed, Kate Middleton attended Trooping the Color for the premiere in June 2011, less than two months after her union with Prince William. Two years later, Pippa Middleton’s sister made a remarkable appearance in a powder pink ensemble which revealed her first pregnancy. In 2015, the daughter-in-law of Charles III and the heir to the crown appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with their son, George, aged one and a half years. The following year, the family grew and this time, the Princess of Wales appeared with her daughter, Charlotte, in her arms. In 2018, in a light blue dress, the future queen appeared alongside Meghan Markle. Then a year later, Prince William’s wife arrived at Trooping the Color with their third child, Louis, in her arms. In 2023, during her last appearance at the event, Kate Middleton made an impression in a green outfit designed by Singaporean designer, Andrew Gn.

Kate Middleton absent from Trooping the Color: will George, Charlotte and Louis be present?

While there is a good chance that Kate Middleton will not be present at Trooping the Color, since she has already missed other important events like D-Day or Hugh Grosvenor’s wedding, the British are therefore wondering if George, Charlotte and Louis will also be absent during the event. For Marlene Koenig, author of Royal Musingsthe children of Kate and William will arrive this Saturday, June 15 alongside Charles III and Camilla Parker Bowles. “I have a feeling the king, queen and three grandchildren might be in the carriage,” she confided to The Daily Express, on May 26. Before adding: “They might be with their grandparents, which would be really cute, really sweet. I think if they’re not there, people will be really disappointed.” Answer tomorrow!
