The month of December 2023 is coming to a gentle end, so it’s time to take a look at what releases there have been. Even if it wasn’t as busy as in November, there were lots of people there. Video game releases for January 2024, with cult licenses
Let’s start with the releases that concern heavy artillery, before moving on to more independent productions. Yes, there are some too, and we must not forget them. On the big name side, we find the new episode of the Like a Dragon series (formerly Yakuza) called Infinite Wealth. A mixture of serious and crazy awaits us in an adventure that promises to be completely crazy. But that’s not all. We also note the big return of Prince of Persia with the opus The Lost Crown on January 18. This time, chose the 2.5D. On the menu, action, memorable fights, and platforming as we like it.
If you’re more into fighting games, then you shouldn’t miss Tekken 8 which arrives on January 26. He looks quite enjoyable, which should not fail to please the fans. As for The Last of Us 2, it will also rear its head again in a remaster which will bring, among other things, a roguelike mode. But what about gamers who hold a VR headset? Rest assured, Bulletstorm and its explosive proposal are there to strengthen your catalog. The most nostalgic among you will be happy to be able to jump into Another Code: Recollection on Nintendo Switch. To stay on the theme of the compilation, we also have Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy for those who have the soul of a lawyer. Finally, there are independents, and not just a few. The Cub comes to mind, with its inspired artistic direction, but also Howl which was a great success on Steam, and which is now arriving on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
