The video game releases for March 2024 will keep the same track as the beginning of the year with a long list of titles and not the least. Between ports and new products, there are some very nice people and competition.
What a start to the year for the video game world! If the atmosphere is spoiled by endless layoffs, the developers try to continue doing what drives them every day. Namely producing games that will be appreciated by different profiles of players around the world. The first two months hurt the wallet with some good and some bad like FF7 Rebirth exclusive to PS5, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, Skull & Bones, Pacific Drive, Sons of the Forest (version 1), Persona 3 Remake, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, the latest Don’t Nod Banishers: Ghost of New Eden or Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Like every month, we take stock of upcoming games and here are all the great video game releases for March 2024.
Very big games are coming in March 2024, it’s going to be expensive!
If your bank account is having trouble recovering from the end of 2023 and the first two months of 2024, it’s not going to be much better. The video game releases for March 2024 are also very busy. And obviously, choices will impose themselves, although the temptation is strong. So what will be the new features that will heat up your PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch consoles or your PC? Lots of things including The Thaumaturge. A highly anticipated RPG, which was postponed by a few weeks, for its connection with The Witcher. The title shares similarities, but also developers. It was in fact designed by former members of the Frostpunk and The Witcher 1 Remake team.
Horror productions will also be in the spotlight in next month’s video game releases. The day after the launch of The Thaumaturge, on March 5, console players will be able to discover the port of The Outlast Trials. A pretty special episode considering it’s a cooperative multiplayer experience. Alone in the Dark, one of the founding pillars of survival horror, will also make its comeback on the video game scene. You don’t like being afraid? Do not panic. There are enough releases for everyone and Star Wars fans will be able to return to much-loved games with Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
If you have a Nintendo Switch, recharge it and make room on the storage for the arrival of Princess Peach: Showtime. Mario’s lover returns with her own adventure in which she can transform at will, in order to use skills, each more varied than the last. But the two big pieces of March 2024 are clearly Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Rise of the Ronin. Two highly anticipated Japanese games. The first follows a highly regarded action-RPG, and the other is a promising beat’em’all by Team Ninja (Nioh, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty…). There will also be South Park Snow Day, Open Roads and several ports such as Hi-Fi Rush (PS5), Planet Zoo Console Edition, or Horizon Forbidden West (PC).
