A big surprise! While she was in charge ofa new number of C to you this Monday, November 27, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine presented chef of the week: Melio Oriundo Chavez. Considered an ambassador of Peruvian cuisine, the latter currently works for Manko, a renowned establishment located in Paris. “But the person who speaks best about your chef cuisine is not me, it’s your number one fan, who didn’t come especially from Quebec but almost“, announced the host of C to you, before welcoming Garou. “Hello ! I came as a fan of Melio!“, announced, visibly enthusiastic, the Quebec singer.
“So tell us why you love Melio’s cuisine“, asked Patrick Cohen’s accomplice in front of the artist who is passionate about cooking. “It’s a restaurant that we imagined eight years ago, more like nine years ago, saying to ourselves thatwe wanted to have an institution of great Peruvian cuisine. So we teamed up with the whole team of these best Peruvian cuisines which are mixtures of many different cuisines“, detailed the interpreter of Seul, who remains “very impressed” by the know-how of Melio Oriundo Chavez. Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine then suggested to Garou to get his hands dirty. “It’s Garou who’s going to work!“, she warned. “I didn’t come to sing, I came to eat! Not to work eh!“, he retorted, before finally agreeing to assist the Peruvian leader.

“I will never be Miss France”: Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine touches on a question of general culture
In the same show, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine was somewhat annoyed at time answer questions from the general knowledge test submitted to Miss France 2024 candidates. “Miss Alsace won the general knowledge quiz so that made me want to do a little C quiz for you. These are the Miss France questions, we’ll see if you’re good!“, proposed the chronicler Lorrain Sénéchal. “Which French pastry chef is the first woman to be crowned best pastry chef in the world?“, asked Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine’s colleague, before the team responded in unison: “Nina Métayer!“
Lorrain Sénéchal continued with a question relating to the poster for the last Cannes Film Festival and a final, more difficult one. “If an item was initially worth 15 euros, sold minus 20%, how much does that make?“, then asked the columnist. Faced with this question of logicthe host of the France 5 talk show kicked in: “So I don’t know…“, replied Patrick Cohen’s accomplice, before adding on a lighter note: “I will never be Miss France, but it’s for other reasons, not because I’m bad!“, she joked. A little sentence which did not fail to amuse the columnists present around the table.
