No joke: Ice cream manufacturer Ben & Jerry's is launching two new types of ice cream with a special feature: The sweet cream is not for us – but for dogs.
Movie night on the couch: you lean back comfortably with a mug of ice cream in your hand, and next to you your dog is also licking a bowl of ice cream with relish. Wait a minute, something is wrong! First, it's strange, and second, dogs shouldn't get ice cream – after all, dogs can only tolerate a small amount of dairy products. But the common ice cream between humans and dogs can soon take place: The American ice cream manufacturer Ben & Jerry's is bringing out "Doggie Desserts" – dog-friendly ice cream.
