VIDEO INTERVIEW. Khaled Alouach (Here it all begins): “Theo must become better than Teyssier”

Since his return to Here it all begins, Theo has been more unbearable than ever. His interpreter, Khaled Alouach, explains to us what is going on in the head of his character and his ambitions.

Since winning the Vatel Prize, Theo is no longer the same man. Every evening, fans ofHere it all starts can observe a Theo who tends more and more towards his father. That is to say, an odious, angry, intransigent and even exasperating man. And that’s just the beginning. “He is still in phase to compete with his father, from the beginning except that he does not know it yet. He doesn’t know he can compete with him“, explains his interpreter, Khaled Alouach, who instantly recognizes that his character “really took the melon“.

However, he understands Theo’s behavior. For him, this is justified quite simply because he is the son of Teyssier and therefore has a reputation to uphold. “He’s Teyssier’s son after all. If he doesn’t become better than him, he’s a bit of a failed child, isn’t he?“, asks Khaled Alouach. He also promises us that”still a lot of conflicts with his father“wait for the viewers and that they”will go much further than before“. This recent gain in self-confidence, Théo owes it to the chef Clotilde Armand (alias Elsa Lunghini). “Except that he took a little too much confidence“, nuance the one who lends him his features. And to analyze: “He thinks that’s how he can get respect when no, in fact, it is simply through his work and his talent.

Khaled Alouach: “No one will steal Theo’s Batman costume”

One thing is certain: Theo is not about to leave his place as head of Double A to his comrades. “Nobody will steal the Batman suit from Theo. It’s dead. They will try but the costume is only for one person: Théo Teyssier“, laughs Khaled Alouach. And if he does “not include“always his character -“A lot of times, reading the script, I say: ‘You’re stupid my guy“, he admits to us – the actor takes pleasure in embodying it. “I like it too much. It’s so cool to play the asshole. Even in the kitchen, I have fun. I have a lot of freedom and it changes a little bit from what I was playing before“, he details. And to specify: “What I like is waltz between fragility and strengthto try to navigate between these two states and lean more towards self-confidence as you go along.
