A difficult time for Luc Besson. Guest of a new issue of the show At Jordan’sbroadcast this Monday January 8 on C8, the famous French director made some confidences about the difficulties encountered by her daughter Juliette, just a few months after her birth. “The first child is always something that leaves a huge mark“, admitted the filmmaker about the daughter he had with Anne Parillaud. “But she had a little problem when Juliette was born. It was during the filming of Big Blue. At a few months old, it was opened from the bottom up, the heart was taken out, we worked on it… We stopped filming… It was very painful“, detailed Luc Besson, who specifies that his daughter is “a bit of a survivor.”
“What was Luc? Was it a problem with the heart?“, Jordan De Luxe asked him. “Yeah yeah, it was a problem with the heart, with the artery, a small part which was atrophied. So she was operated three times, once during filming and two days after the opening of the Cannes Film Festival with The big Blue so it was good…“, confided Maïwenn’s ex with emotion. “But it’s very strange to do The big Blue, which was really the most important film for me, and all of a sudden, in the middle of filming, to have those who are up there, who are there laughing, saying ‘go ahead, make him do it a little thing, piss him off a little with his daughter.’ (…) It’s both the happiest moment of your life because you’re making the film you dream of and at the same time, the person you love most in the world, that is to say your daughter, ends up in open heart surgery“, he explained on the set of Jordan’s.

During this same interview, Jordan De Luxe asked his guest if he was a dad present for his eldest daughter, born in 1987.”I was absent at the beginning, it’s true, I was missing, but I tried to correct myself“, he admitted to Jordan De Luxe.
