Cash confidences. This Monday, November 20, several public figures were invited to the LCP set to talk about the difficulty of setting up a good political interview. Among them, we notably found the former Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot and the editorialist Nathalie Saint-Cricq. During the exchange, the one who headed the political service of France 2 from 2012 to 2019 notably pointed out the methods of certain journalists. “They want to trip up politicians. I believe that when you are a journalist, you are not there to trip people up. We are here to ask questions. It is obvious that they are not omniscient.”she assured.
To support her remarks, Nathalie Saint-Cricq notably cited the case of Jean-Jacques Bourdin. “It was a bit like the Bourdin method, if you like.“she said frankly. “Basically, during the presidential period, we knew he was going to try to stick with you”she continued, before concluding: “It is not a sign of independence, it’s no guarantee of quality to try to pay for it [les personnalités politiques].” So, yes, Nathalie Saint-Cricq has once again proven that she does not have her tongue in her pocket.

Nathalie Saint-Cricq speaks about her son’s career as a journalist: “Without piston”
Very attached to her profession as a journalist, Nathalie Saint-Cricq has passed on this passion for current affairs to his son, Benjamin, born from his love story with Patrice Duhamel. As a reminder, the 28-year-old journalist is at the head of the show BFM Politics every Sunday from 12 p.m. on BFMTV since the start of the school year in September 2023. A trajectory that makes his parents proud since Agathe Lambret’s companion won “without a piston”, according to Nathalie Saint-Cricq. “He did an internship at LCI. They came to get him. I had no doubt he would do something, but if he could have done something else, I would have liked it.”she explained during an exchange with VL Media, last October.
