At the start of this fifteenth edition of “Top Chef”, there were 16 of them. Since then, several of them have been eliminated. Wednesday May 1, 2024, at the end of the last episode of the famous culinary competition on Channel 6, a new candidate was forced to leave the program.

New week and new elimination in Top chef. This Wednesday, May 1, the candidates still in the running were subjected to an unprecedented test. They were given the task of creating a flower-shaped dish, following the advice of guest chef Clare Smyth. Triple-starred in the United Kingdom, the latter hoped to delight your eyes… and your taste buds.
Among the four candidates, Marie, Bryan, Valentin and Jorick, it was Marie who won the event visually. Valentin, on the other hand, was Clare Smyth’s favorite. Bryan took 3rd place, while Jorick was sent directly to the elimination round.
It was then the turn of Pavel, Clotaire, Arnaud and Quentin to confront each other. For them, it was chef Simone Zanoni who came to ask them to cook oyster mushrooms. Problem, this ingredient grows in coffee grounds but access to the pantry is prohibited. So, to meet the challenge of the chef, who is concerned about the environment, the candidates were able to recover the remains of the first test. Quentin was named favorite, and Pavel and Clotaire managed to qualify for the rest of the competition. Arnaud, on the other hand, found himself a last chance.
Top Chef 2024: Arnaud joins Pierre Gagnaire’s Hidden Brigade
The eliminatory event was therefore played between Arnaud and Jorick, on the theme of fruit salad. And it was Jorick who managed to save himself, being unanimously the jury’s favorite. Arnaud was therefore eliminated but joined Lise and Shirley alongside Pierre Gagnaire in the Hidden Brigade. A final test was therefore reserved for Arnaud, around the Paupiette. At the tasting, Pierre Gagnaire and François-Régis Gaudry were even more amazed by Shirley and Arnaud. It is therefore Lise who left the adventure for good Top chef. “Your paupiette was very good but now it will be difficult to go further“, Pierre Gagnaire addressed her, moved, finding her in tears. And added: “You are full of qualities, joy of life… Good luck to you.“
