When temperatures approach freezing point, drivers have the dubious pleasure of scratching the windshield free every morning. In order to accelerate this significantly, many leave the engine running at the same time. But there is a good reason why it shouldn't be done.
Winter is here! Unfortunately, that doesn't just mean building a snowman and sledding, but also regularly removing the ice from the car windows. And that is exhausting, time-consuming and, above all, very uncomfortable. Many drivers can therefore be carried away to start the engine on the side and thus accelerate the "de-icing process".
Write scratching freely and let the engine run? Better not!
