Who will be the next Prime Minister? This is the question that all French people are asking themselves right now. If Emmanuel Macron does not seem to have made his decision yet, for several days, Ségolène Royal has been appealing to the President of the Republic. In front of Darius Rochebin on LCI, on August 29, she affirms, in fact, to be “available” for this position. Invited in PunchlineLaurence Ferrari’s show on Europe 1, this Tuesday, September 3, the journalist asked the former Minister of the Environment if she had been received or even approached by the Head of State since her speech. To which she replied: “There are two hypotheses. Either Emmanuel Macron has already chosen his Prime Minister and is testing a name that he has already chosen. Or, he has not yet chosen and I am available to meet him.”
Ségolène Royal reiterates her comments and assures that she would be a good choice for Matignon, recalling her long CV. “We need someone who speaks to everyone, who has no enemies, who has experience of all the country’s institutions. I have lived in all of these institutions to a certain extent. I think I am a woman who brings people together.”she explains to the journalist.

The ex-partner of François Hollande then gave several names such as Xavier Bertrand for the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Philippe Brun or Boris Vallaud for the budget or Laurent Nuñez for the Ministry of the Interior.
