Anyone who has struggled with sleep problems for a long period of time knows how frustrating that is. For this problem there are now a lot of "sleep aids" to buy – but do they really make sense? RTL found that out in a self-experiment.

Stress and worry often lead to restless sleep. At first you lie awake in bed for hours and then at some point you finally fall asleep, it often doesn't last long and you wake up much too early. The result: You fight your way through the day completely exhausted and overtired.

Sleeping aids: what are they really good for?

In the meantime, however, there are plenty of gadgets and resources that are supposed to help the insomniacs among us – with success? RTL found that out in a self-experiment.
