Stéphane Plaza’s lawyer notably explained that her client “is not good” even if “It’s starting to get better.” “The word he used when the article came out [celui de Médiapart, qui dévoilait les accusations de violences physiques et psychologiques proférées à son sujet par plusieurs anciennes compagnes, NDLR] and who truly represents what he represented is ‘annihilated'”, explained Master Hélène Plumet Selas, indicating that the emblematic presenter of M6 is “still in shock”. “He doesn’t understand how this could have happened, how we can blame him for this”, she said, before indicating that she had “filed a complaint for defamation against Médiapart“, but also “for defamation and insults against Voila”, who revealed and reported the affair, in a manner “extrapol[ée]” according to the legal representative of Stéphane Plaza.

Messages “tampered” which do not reflect reality?
She then criticized that the TV host was in the sights of the media and the accusers, who seemed, in her words, to try “to find” its flaws: “Suddenly, Stéphane Plaza is addicted to sex, alcohol, illicit substances… It’s all gone, in fact.” Questioned by Cyril Hanouna about the messages made public which were exchanged between the complainants and the accused, the lawyer declared that they were “a little tampered with”. “When we look closely, for the hand episode, with the hand fracture.
