A family of champions. Between them, Laure and Florent Manaudou have seven Olympic medals. The eldest won his first medals at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004 when she was only seventeen: the gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle, the silver medal in the 800-meter freestyle and the bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke. Four years later, in Beijing, she is faced with failure. After a break in her sports career, she made her return to the London Olympics in 2012. If Laure Manaudou did not win a race, she exploded with joy when her brother was crowned Olympic champion in the 50-meter freestyle. In total, Florent Manaudou then won three Olympic medals (in addition to the many medals in European and world championships): two silver medals at the Rio Olympics, in 2016, in the 4 x 100-meter freestyle and the 50-meter freestyle, and silver in his favorite event, the 50-meter freestyle, at the Tokyo Games in 2021. And it’s not over: he is preparing for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris .
