All sorts of celebrities have once again come to the 66th Vienna Opera Ball – especially Priscilla Presley as Richard Lugner’s accompaniment.
February 8th marks the 66th. The Vienna Opera Ball once again attracted numerous celebrities to the Austrian capital – especially Priscilla Presley (78). The ex-wife of Elvis Presley (1935-1977) came as this year’s accompaniment to Richard “Mörtel” Lugner (91).
In an eye-catching dress decorated with glittering sequins, which drew additional attention to Presley with a large black bow, the actress took a seat in the building lion’s box that evening as this year’s star guest.
The celebrities in the Vienna State Opera
Of course, other celebrities also graced the Vienna State Opera this year. The comedian Oliver Pocher (45) traveled with his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden (40) and posted a first brief impression of the State Opera that night on his Instagram account.
Model Papis Loveday (47) appeared in an unusual headdress and, according to Austrian media reports, designer Harald Glööckler (58) also presented himself in his usual “pompous” manner. Austria’s political celebrities such as Chancellor Karl Nehammer (51) could not be missing, as well as pop star Heino (85), the singer DJ Ötzi (53), the actress Nina Proll (50), presenter Arabella Kiesbauer (54), “Let’s Dance” – Winner Lili Paul-Roncalli (25) and the Italian actor Franco Nero (82).
The Vienna Opera Ball is one of the most glamorous society events and takes place annually in one of the most famous opera houses in the world. Lugner has been inviting well-known celebrity ladies for many years and always causes a stir. Kim Kardashian (43), Joan Collins (90), Sophia Loren (89), Pamela Anderson (56), Jane Fonda (86)… they all accompanied the 91-year-old.
