When you think of ski jumping, you immediately think of snow, mountains and probably our most successful ski jumper, Stefan Kraft. As you know, he’s from Salzburg. But this year’s overall World Cup winner could soon have competition from, of all places, the big city. Because for the first time in history, two youth ski jumping titles will go to Vienna! The Stadtadler, the only ski jumping club in Vienna and Lower Austria, made history and put an outstanding end to an extremely successful season for both girls and boys. For the boys, Fabian Plank (16), a Donaustadt native, took overall victory in the Youth Austria Cup. We congratulate our Viennese of the week!
