A little less than a year after the first season, Vikings: Valhalla is already soon back with a second batch of episodes. Netflix has unveiled the first images of season 2 of the Vikings spin-off.

The Vikings spin-off is back soon! Netflix has unveiled the trailer for season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla and these images promise epic new adventures for explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his valiant sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) and the ambitious Prince of the North Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).

At the end of the inaugural season of Vikings: Valhalla, set more than 100 years after the original series, our Norse legends found themselves driven from Kattegat after the seizure of power by Olaf (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson), the half-brother of Harald, who has allied himself with Jarl Kåre (Asbjørn Krogh Nissen).

In the second season, consisting of 8 episodes, Leif, Freydis and Harald are forced to go beyond the fjords of Scandinavia and flee to new worlds where their ambition and courage will be tested.

Even if the three heroes must separate and move towards their destiny, they have a common goal: to get revenge on Olaf and Jarl Kåre to return to Kattegat and reign over Scandinavia. In the episodes to come, they will live new extraordinary adventures which will make them walk in the footsteps of their illustrious ancestors like Ragnar or Lagertha.

Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla will be available from January 12, 2023 on Netflix.
