A 58-year-old woman from Villach-Land fell victim to unknown perpetrators last Tuesday. The woman transferred some of her savings to her supposed son.
When the woman received a message via a messenger service last Tuesday, she believed it was her son. This fooled the 58-year-old into an emergency situation and asked her for a four-digit sum of money. The man then transferred the money to a Spanish account for the 58-year-old. Finally, the fraud was discovered and the woman reported it to the police.
