Vincent Gross is back with his new album "Hautnah". In an interview, he reveals what a woman needs to bring in order to please him.

Vincent Gross (24, "Above Us The Sun") is one of the rising stars in the Schlager sky. With "Hautnah" the Swiss will release his third album on Friday (January 29th), and he will also have his own talk format "Stars um 10 hautnah" on YouTube. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, the single talks about the qualities his dream woman should have. He also reveals whether he could imagine his own TV show and what it would look like.

Her new song "Whoever wants to be beautiful has to laugh" breaks up ideals of beauty. Is a laughing person a beautiful person to you?

Vincent Gross: Absolutely. Laughter and a happy nature is the most attractive thing for me that I know. This is my ideal of beauty. There are so many ideals of beauty being emulated in the world and on social media that are not true. Filters and Photoshop are used to create so many perfect Kens and Barbies that are not real. One shouldn't emulate that. For me, laughter is the most attractive thing because it makes you happy. And I like to be happy.

Are you single. What would a woman have to have besides a cheerful nature to please you?

Gross: I don't want to narrow the search down any further, at the moment you only meet very few people. So it is very difficult. I'm very open about that, I'm not saying: she has to have brown, curly hair or blue eyes and a certain size. I have no optical ideas. As a musician, it is not easy to find someone who supports everything. I'm constantly on the move and on tour, I have very little time. It would have to be a woman who can travel a lot and who isn't jealous of the fans.

You have had your own YouTube talk format "Stars at 10 up close" since last year. Who told the most exciting story so far?

Gross: It is very different. I had really great guests, from Giovanni Zarrella to Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross. I had a great conversation with them about relationships. I asked them what their advice would be: to date someone outside of the industry or rather within the industry. You are the living example that it works in the industry, the two are of one heart and one soul. On the other hand, there aren't that many singles out there in the industry. That's why I let it come to me very openly.

Also interesting was the talk with Markus Krebs, who was unemployed for a while and worked as a pizza delivery service and for a disabled driver service. At some point he actively took up his hobby of telling bar jokes and tried it out on stage. So he worked his way up. All of my previous guests have told me exciting stories; they all had to fight for their success. Markus Krebs is an example of what is possible.

Which other guest would you like to invite?

Gross: I would still wish for Andrea Kiewel. She has invited me several times. I think her way is great. I like her because she is who she is and doesn't mince words. I would like to interview her and find out more about her life.

Could you also envision your own TV show?

Gross: Absolutely. Last summer I was able to co-moderate the "Schlagerparty mit Ross Antony" with Julia Lindholm. That was my first TV presentation and it was really fun. I could definitely imagine my own show and it would be a big dream of mine. I loved giving lectures at school. I was always the one with the best grade without having practiced beforehand. If I didn't know what to do next, I would just talk or play a game. Games always work. (laughs)

What is the concept of the show you want to host?

Gross: It would definitely have something to do with hits and music. I also thought about Julia Lindholm before. We had the idea to combine a music show with action: A sports fun park challenge, similar to "Ninja Warrior", with music. I would have combined all of my passions there.
