Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche love each other and tear each other apart in the trailer for Avec amour et acharnement, the new feature film by Claire Denis, which won an award at the last Berlin Film Festival. The film will be released on August 31, 2022.
Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche are the headliners of With love and relentlessness, a new feature film directed by Claire Denis (Beau Travail, Chocolat, Un beau soleil interior), adapted from a book by novelist Christine Angot.
The story is as follows: It’s Paris and it’s already winter. Sarah and Jean love each other, they have been living together for several years. It is a love that makes them happy and stronger. They trust each other. Desire never faded. One morning, Sarah bumps into François, her former lover, this François who introduced her to Jean, this François whom she left for Jean without hesitation.

Filmed in Paris, notably at the Maison de la radio, Claire Denis surrounded herself with a French cast, including two actors brought together for the first time in the same film: Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche. Grégoire Colin and Mati Diop are also in the cast.
As for Un Beau Soleil Interior, the screenplay is co-written with Christine Angot. It is precisely an adaptation of the book, “A turning point in life”, published in 2018.
Avec Amour et acharnement earned Claire Denis the Silver Bear for Best Director this winter at the Berlin Film Festival. For the record, the filmmaker was also rewarded, at the Cannes Film Festival which ended last month, for her next film, shot in English Stars at noon, which will be released soon.
With love and determination, with Vincent Lindon and Juliette Binoche, will be released at the end of this summer, August 31, 2022.
