Vinci: 4.8% increase in consolidated turnover in the 1st quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – Vinci publishes consolidated turnover of 15.7 billion euros for the 1st quarter of 2024, up 4.8% (organic growth: +4.2%) compared to the same period a year earlier.

On a comparable basis, the Cobras IS activity grew by 7.6% ahead of the Concessions activity (+5.3%), Vinci Energies (+3.8%) and Vinci Construction (+3.8%). Only the Real Estate activity is in contraction, at -16.1%.

Vinci also reports an order book up 11%, to 66.7 billion euros, driven by order intake up 19%, to 18.5 billion euros.

In this context, Vinci confirms its 2024 outlook, considering a further increase in its turnover, however less than that achieved in 2023.

If the company mentions the new tax on long-distance transport infrastructure decided by the French government (the amount of which is estimated at around 280 million euros), Vinci estimates that the net result in 2024 could be ‘close to the level reached in 2023’.
