(CercleFinance.com) – VINCI Energies has signed an agreement to acquire most of the IT services activities of Kontron AG (formerly S&T AG), one of the main players in the field of connected objects in Europe.
The scope of the transaction covers Germany, Switzerland, Poland, as well as 8 other countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
Its expertise encompasses the integration of IT systems and IT services related to infrastructure and application systems.
Through this acquisition, VINCI Energies intends to strengthen its position in the European ICT market by integrating a volume of activity of around €360 million over a full year and 1,600 new employees.
