(CercleFinance.com) – Vinci Airports has finalized the acquisition from Fintech of a 29.99% stake in the capital of OMA (‘Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte’) for a total amount of 1.17 billion dollars.
Vinci Airports thus becomes the leading shareholder of the Mexican airport group.
Vinci Airports will contribute to the operation of thirteen airports in this country with strong growth potential.
Passenger traffic at OMA airports has been above its pre-health crisis level since last July. Overall over the first eleven months of the year – with 21 million passengers welcomed through 170 destinations served – it reached 99% of its 2019 level.
