The four international airports are Praia (the capital), Sal, São Vicente and Boa Vista. There are also three domestic airports: São Nicolau, São Filipe and Maio.

Over a period of 40 years, Vinci Airports and its Portuguese subsidiary ANA (respectively 70% and 30% of the concession company) will be responsible for the financing, operation, maintenance, extension and modernization of these platforms.

Cape Verdean airport traffic increased by an average of 5.6% per year between 2010 and 2019, to 2.8 million passengers. Traffic recovered to 80% of 2019 levels during the second quarter of 2022.
