The construction and concessions giant has a new business after the acquisition of Cobra IS.
“From mid-2023, Vinci will start producing electricity.”Xavier Huillard, CEO of Vinci, is proud to be able to talk about the new profession of the group he leads. The first photovoltaic field, with a power of 600 MW, under construction in Brazil, should be operational during the course of this year. Two others, representing a power of 1.4 GW, will soon be installed, in Spain and Brazil. And projects representing a power of 1.4 GW, ie more than eight times the power of the Flamanville EPR, have already been identified. “We are aiming to commission renewable electricity fields with a capacity of 1.5 GW each year from now on”welcomes Xavier Huillard again.
