Vinci: wins two contracts in the USA for around 53 ME

(CercleFinance.com) – Vinci announces that the Georgia State Highway Authority (SRTA) has entrusted VINCI Highways, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, with the management of transactions for its 107 km network around Atlanta, in free flow and ‘dynamic pricing’, i.e. pricing that changes depending on the time and traffic on the motorway.

Vinci specifies that the contract also integrates the management of transactions for the ‘E-ZPass’ program, interoperable with the road networks of 18 other American states and with the car parks of Atlanta International Airport.

The contract, lasting 7 years, will be operated by ViaPlus, a subsidiary of VINCI Highways specializing in free-flow traffic systems.

Furthermore, in Texas, VINCI Highways won the video image review service from the Harris County Highway Authority (HCTRA), which operates a free-flow network serving Houston and its region.

The contract, lasting 19 months with several extension options, aims to optimize toll collection by the authority using the optical recognition plate reading system developed by ViaPlus.

The total value of these two contracts is approximately 53 million euros.
