Harold Lloyd was one of the most famous actors and producers of the first half of the 20th century. The film scene in which he dangles from the hand of a clock on the facade of a skyscraper is well known. Privately, Lloyd had a huge Christmas tree that was on his property all year round. Walter Dymond, the steward (pictured), had intertwined two fir trees and decorated them at Lloyd’s direction (photo taken in 1972).
