An alligator was reported to have attacked a 72-year-old man on April 14, 2023 at a campsite in Florida. It took the intervention of an alligator trapper to retrieve his leg from the water.

The 72-year-old victim was bitten on the leg in a campsite in Florida on Friday, April 14, reports the magazine PEOPLE, citing local media. After’horrible attack on the 72-year-old man, an alligator was spotted in the lake with one foot between his jaws. The septuagenarian lost his leg from the knee down, local media confirmed, while he was in Great Outdoors RV and Golf Resort in Titusville. According to Brevard County firefighters, the reptile had ripped off old man’s leg during his attack, which was reported to authorities shortly before 2 p.m. last Friday.
